Fuel, delivered where the work is
Erwin Fuel Co. is a mobile fuel delivery company based in Lexington, South Carolina. We bring diesel, off-road diesel, DEF and bulk fuel directly to job sites, fleet yards, farms and generators across the Midlands.
The whole business exists to remove one specific cost: the time your people spend going to get fuel, and the time your equipment sits idle waiting on it.
The problem we solve
Fuel is rarely expensive because of the price per gallon.
It gets expensive when a crew sends someone for cans and loses an hour. When an excavator runs dry mid-dig and the operator, the machine and the schedule all stop together. When a driver detours to a pump and burns paid time waiting behind three other trucks. When a generator runs down during an outage and whatever it was powering goes down with it.
None of that shows up as a fuel cost on your books. It shows up as labor, as downtime, as a job running late. We built the service around eliminating it: the fuel comes to the equipment, on a schedule that matches how fast you actually burn it.

Erwin Fuel Co. is owner-operated out of Lexington. That's deliberate — when you call about a delivery, you're talking to the people who will actually schedule and run it, not a call center three states away reading from a script.
It also means the day-to-day service area is built around being close: Columbia is about twenty minutes from our yard, West Columbia and Cayce roughly fifteen. Short runs are what make same-day delivery normal instead of a favour — and for larger contracts and long-haul work, we take jobs across South Carolina and the Southeast.
How we work
We come to you
Every gallon we sell is delivered. No forecourt, no card reader, no one from your crew driving to get it. The fuel arrives where the equipment already is.
We tell you a real time
If we can be there in an hour, we say an hour. If it's going to be tomorrow morning, we say that instead of winning the job and missing the window.
The Midlands is home base
Day-to-day, we cover Lexington, Richland and the surrounding counties — close enough that same-day is normal. For larger contracts and long-haul jobs, we go further: across South Carolina and the Southeast.
We answer the phone
Generators don't run out during business hours. There's a 24/7 number because outages and dead equipment don't wait for Monday.
What we deliver
- Clear on-road diesel for anything licensed for the highway, and dyed off-road diesel for equipment that stays off public roads.
- DEF in jugs, drums, 275-gallon totes or bulk, delivered on the same run as the diesel.
- Bulk deliveries into your own storage, a job-site tank or a generator base tank.
- Scheduled fleet fueling, including overnight wet hosing with volumes recorded per unit.
- On-site refueling for construction equipment, lifts, light towers and pumps.
- 24/7 emergency delivery for standby generators and critical equipment.
Where we run
We're based in Lexington and cover the Midlands of South Carolina.
Columbia, Lexington, Gilbert, West Columbia, Cayce, plus Irmo, Chapin, Batesburg-Leesville and the surrounding Lexington, Richland, Newberry and Fairfield county areas. If your site sits just outside that list, call and ask — we reach more of the Midlands than most people expect.
